The Naranjo River borders the Manuel Antonio National Park. It is a Class III/IV half-day challenge for more experienced paddlers that runs from May-early December.
The Naranjo River drops steeply from the coastal mountain range above Quepos through a beautiful jungle and takes you on a wild ride to sea level, passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. The riverbanks are overgrown with jungle and the canyon walls meet the water at 90-degree angles.
The whitewater, jungle, canyon, and sky, make for an unforgettable day.
For the advanced rafter, this is an exciting and refreshing ride through the Naranjo Canyon. As well, if you are a first-time paddler who welcomes a challenge and is looking for the excitement of big waves, hydraulics and stunning scenery, then this whitewater rafting trip is for you!

You will discover the true meaning of the word paradise as you relax and enjoy the PURA VIDA (Pure Life) in this beautiful bay surrounded by lush green landscape and the soothing sounds of the ocean.
We drive you to the departure point “Marina Pez Vela in Quepos, there you will check in, get your wristband, sign our waiver. We cruise around Manuel Antonio National Park looking for any marine wildlife, passing majestic rock formations. On this tour we also look for whales and dolphins. After this, we anchor in a protected bay where you can go snorkeling, use the waterslide, jump off the top of the boat or simply just relax, lunch is served onboard, after eating we head back to the Marina.
